If you are looking for a heartwarming love story this is it. It only took me about four hours to read. While I generally prefer books with a little more depth and intrigue, I did enjoy that straight forwardness of this book.Product details

I liked this book. It was a nice easy read. I like it when there is a plot and a way to see the end. I only wish it was longer and a little more detailed. There were parts were I had to fill in some missing information...very few though.
Viola Mae Holt with another great book. I couldn't put it down. Wonderful book. I loved the story and the characters. You can't help but fall in love with them. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great book and an amazing writer.

I received an advance exclusive copy of this book in exchange for a review. It was short, but it started out strong. I felt like I had a good understanding of the main character (MC), their love interest and history very early on, without it feeling too forced. Because of the short length a few situations felt a bit out of place, but I still enjoyed the read overall. I found myself wishing there was more, which isn't always a bad thing. As the end approached I found myself questioning motivations of the MC and decisions she made which left me soured to the story overall. However, the story up until then made up for the lackluster conclusion, still netting this as small gem 4 stars.
Taiwo and Emi have known each other since Emi was 6yrs old. Her mother is a servant in the royal household. They start a friendship that evolves to love through the yrs. When she decides to go to college she goes to the states in hope Taiwo can move on. Emi isn't sure she can picture herself as a princess and she doesn't want to hold him back.
When Emi returns from college and sees Taiwo again she can't stop the love she feels and the sadness because she knows she can't be with him.
Taiwo has some traditions in the royal family that have to be followed bedore he can pursue Emi but he really doesn't want her to leave his life.
When threats and paparazzi harassing Emi and her family threaten their friendship its inspiring watching Taiwo and Emi discover and figure things out.

I loved every minute of this book. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Coming out in May'
I really enjoyed this book and the sincerity of the love story that is told. Love prevails and won. Awesome read!
Captivating, descriptive and romantic. If you're looking for love without all the unecessary graphic parts, this is it. Nothing like a story I can enjoy and recommend to my mom and aunts.
