This book is so awesome!!! It's a great reference book for clothing, but it won't show you step by step so i don't recommend it to a beginner. There're different artists so it's a different range of clothing and styles of guys, and in the back it has like 6 pages on guys' body shapes and head shapes, plus shirt collars and hoods, feet, hands, and muscles. It's very brief and it's not step by step, plus it's all in Japanese, but it's an amazing reference book!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!Product details

It's...ok. Not the reference I thought I would be getting. Has some nice pictures, but not great as an artist reference at all.

Great encyclopedia of modern clothing for men, very fashionable. The book is smaller than I had expected and took a while to get here but I find it helpful.

It arrived early! This series of books is exactly what you need if you feel stalled after burning through all the American 'how to draw' books. "How to draw..." books seem to focus on only anime and cartoony versions of shoujo manga, but these books from Japan give you much more detailed examples to make your art more detailed and mature (since shoujo is a genre for young teens). The book (for someone who does not read characters) is mainly examples and ideas on how to construct outfits and then at the end they give pointers for drawing males. After coming through so many English language manga drawing books, this series convinced me to switch to Japanese books despite not being able to read them.
Over 200 pages of good clothes references for all types of anime guys! I was so excited when I got this book and it arrived so quickly! I was soooo happy to have this one finally in my hands since Ive been dying to get this volume after getting the girls' ones. Its not really a "how to" book but if you ever become stumped on what your guy oc would wear, this book will surely help you out since it did for me. Its all in japanese but considering that the girls' volume helped me a lot I doubt a language barrier like this will ruin it for artists that just need a good push in the right direction when it comes to different anime guy fashion. Its highly reccommended and not a bad price either! Check it out whenever you get the chance!
Bonus it even snuck in at the near end on what body types you can do with these clothes as well along with different head types and etc. How awesome is that?
This is not a how-to book, but a reference book. It's full of different clothing and body types so you can always find something fitting when drawing a character. If you plan on drawing for a manga, this is a must!! Has a front and back of clothes, and manga-shading for each clothing article, so if you're confused about how to shade clothes, this could help. Most of the characters/clothes in this book are drawn by different artist and there's no step-by-step, so if that's a no-no for you, you should pass on this. It's kinda of thin, and light, but the size is good enough. Easy to carry. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that they don't show to how to draw and IT'S *NOT* IN ENGLISH.
